9am – 4.30pm 29th of March, 2012 The Village Roadshow TheatretteState Library of Victoria This conference presents an opportunity for professionals that work with people using drugs and alcohol and students studying in a relevant field, to gain access to some of Australia's finest thinkers on drug and alcohol clinical practice, workforce development and public policy.Although Australia has traditionally been perceived as a leader in minimising the harms related to alcohol and other drug use, Victoria still has much to do in keeping pace with its stately rivals. ‘What’s the harm?’ will showcase innovative and successful strategies to minimise the harms related to injecting drug use and inspire attendees to explore, discuss and debate what has held Victoria, and more broadly, Australia back in drug policy, attitude and action.
