ADCA’s policy development and approach to advocacy draws on the Australian context and international experience and evidence.

ADCA is a Foundation Member of the International Federation Of Non-Government Organisations For The Prevention Of Drug And Substance Abuse (IFNGO), a Full Member of the International Council on Alcohol and Addictions (ICAA), and a Partner Member of the International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC).  It represents Australian non-government AOD organisations in United Nations discussions on alcohol and other drugs policy issues.
